About Me

I am an eighteen year old political science major with a love for reading and writing. I moved to Maine from Georgia, where I had lived for ten years. I spend my time doing homework, hanging out with friends, playing video games, and of course, reading and writing. There is obviously a healthy mix of all of them in my free time. I have four siblings, three older brothers and one younger sister, and four pets, two dogs and two cats. I tend to be the type to spend all day curled up in my bed listening to music while on my phone but I’ve made a conscious effort to try and avoid doing that as much.

My philosophy on learning is that it is a multi-faceted experience on both the student’s and the teacher’s side, although more is placed upon the student for them to push themselves. Students must be able to put their all into their learning in experience while teachers must be able to facilitate and accommodate to the different learning styles of different students to make it an experience for everyone. Learning is definitely an effort exercise in a lot of instances, where your mind can be applied to so many different things as long as you have at least some desire to do it.
